The menu this Bihu

"Would love to see your Bihu celebration menu!!" This post is inspired by this comment made by Deepak Amembal (Magiceye) in one of the pictures that I had uploaded on facebook during Rongali Bihu .Onset of the Assamese new year(at around 15 April every year) and coming of spring is celebrated as Rongali-Bihu or also called as Bohag bihu. This marks the first day of the Hindu solar calendar and is observed all over India though called by different names. It's a time of celebrations and feasting which continues for  seven  days. The topic how the seven days of Bihu are celebrated in itself deserves an individual post . Today I focus mainly on feasting part , the way my family  does.
