We reached Konark in the afternoon , it was very hot and humid but less crowded compared to morning hours. Taking a guide is a good idea to know the history and many local stories related to the temple.
The temple has a huge parking area.
Visitors can buy local handicraft from small stalls on both sides of the road approaching temple
